I am going Saturday to the library in Blanchard MI to hear Krista Prout speak about “Pieces of the Past: Women, Quilts, and the Civil War.” Has anyone heard her speak before? I'm programmer for our guild and may be bringing her in as a speaker. she sounded pretty interesting when I spoke to her. She sent me some of her patterns that she made from quilts that were her ancestors. I'll let you know how it is.

I wish that I did not have plans because I would have enjoyed the trip, company, and a little history.
