    I was asked why quilter's don't stay stitich all the edges of their pieces before sewing them together by friends that are good semstress. I couldn't answer can you?

    would take too much time!!! and i don`t think it is necessary on all these small pieces

    When you put the quilt top together you are usually sewing acoss seams to make your rows thus back stitching is not necessay. Your seams are locked in position.

    The seams lock in the intersections, and the quilting helps too :D:D:D
