I will check that out since I live in The Woodlands area just slightly north of there -- the two WalMarts in The Woodlands just off I-45 don't have material and I haven't checked out the one at the end of Woodlands Parkway -- thank you for the info

The Wal-Mart in Pace, FL has reopened with a nice assortment of fabric..not quite as big as it was before and there is generally someone close by to cut fabric. I guess our petition which we signed earlier this year paid off...for those of you who still don't have a fabric dept. you may want to contact corporate again.

Same thing is happening here in Hinesville, GA. Manager of craft department told me yesterday that the reorganization of that department which was to happen in February is cancelled until August and the store manager is fighting to keep it. We live smack in the middle of quilt and papercrafting country here in deep south coastal GA and all the other stores within a 100 mile radius of us has been revamped and craft department as we know it lost. We also are a military town and it is needed since many military do quilting/sewing and such and fact Walmart is the only place within a 30 mile radius that has any sewing fabrics of any amount that is priced reasonably however I must say that at Hancocks in Savannah and often online hancocks materials are cheaper than Walmart.
