Quintessential Quilts Reedsburg, Wi. is a great quilt shop. It is a huge house full of all kinds of fabrics, some unique prints that I haven't seen anywhere else. Elaine

Thanks, got that one marked to go to. I just can't wait. Hope the RV can hold all the purchases.

Bear's Den in Siren, WI; nice shop in Ladysmith,WI right on Hwy 8 on left in older house as you travel west; Pins and Needles in downtown St. Croix Falls is about 25 miles west of casino in Turtle Lake WI; Country Schoolhouse in Superior, WI.

I sure hope the shop in St. Croix Falls is still open. We haven't stopped in a couple of years due to traveling at odd hours and/or Sundays. The owner had a nice selection of batiks, brights, thirties, etc. Very pleasant person :-)

If you check further, I know there are two small shops south of Turtle Lake. One is only open certain hours/days and the other shop was open daily M-Sa. We no longer will be taking that route to visit the kids so I'll be searching for new adventures myself.

My husband knows where the bathrooms are in shops that are in a 50 mile radius of our home. He is very good about stopping and has even seen some that I missed.

AQS Paducah. Is anyone in the western Virginia, north western North Carolina area that travels by tour bus to AQS in Paducah? Our guild has several members interested in going and being able to stay in Paducah rather than 50 miles away for the three/four days we wish to visit all the venues. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Think there is a real nice shop in Hayward, south side. Great shops in Rice Lake, Chippewa Falls, Chetek, Eau Claire, Wausau, Antigo, and so many more in Wisconsin. Great state for quilters!!

Be sure to stop at the Bear Den Quilt Shop in Siren, WI. They have a wonderful array of fabric and patterns. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful - if you need help. The quality of their goods is excellent. I travel between AZ and WI and have found this shop to be one of the best.
