Karen, they look GREAT! Love your colors!! I'm still working on your "payment" for the treadle-I haven't forgotten! I have been busy too but ~sadly~ not making "pretties" like you. I would rather be sewing!!

Beautiful quilts Karen! Bet you are so pleased with doing free-hand. Hey, from what I understand, practice makes perfect, so you'll get there. (I'm not inclined to try real hard. Some one else can deal with all that.) Guess I'm a piecer at heart!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY NEW QUILTING FRIENDS IN THE PACIFIC NW!

You need to show us a closeup of the quilting :)
No Duck fans, just fans of bugs and frogs! I'll get detail posted later today!

Here is the detail from the quilting. Nothing special as I'm still trying to get the feel of moving it. I still jackrabbit and it is a good thing there is a stitch regulator on it or things would be really bad!

Karen, those look just great! But, ya know, you may want to have a back-up plan for that scrappy one . . . just in case your youngest doesn't like it . . . you know where I live.

I do know where you live! I have to say he is going to love it though because the one he's using at the moment is in shreds and I've repaired it half a dozen times, including retying the entire thing! I think he can just deep six the old one!

Hello all my NW quilting friends! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Before I am even ringing in the New Year, my thoughts are on our next gathering :)

How would everyone like to meet at the "Stitches In Bloom" Quilt Show at the Oregon Gardens in Silverton,OR? It is being held Jan 28th & 29th, 10am - 4pm. I will be entering the batik French Braid quilt I made for my brother. I prefer to go on Friday, but Saturday is OK too! Let me hear from you, PLEASE.

Before I close, I have to share my Christmas JOY with you....

    Christmas smiles
