Hi, I just read the whole thing again. This has been so much fun and I am ready to do it again. I think all of you are wonderful. Thanks to Faith, Cindy, Jen, Alice, Karen, and Lorraine for keeping us laughing. And a special thanks for to Karen for the Saturday supper. The pictures are wonderful, I will send them to my family. One more note, Alaska Sunshine your quilts and your home are lovely.

Karen you didn't get much sewing done did you? But losts of cutting though!

Girls-I am trying to plan a trip to Battleground next week to Country Manor-anyone interested? I'm anxious to check it out.

Guess who I ran into in Yamhill? Went to the Quilted Hill on Tuesday while taking a break from working at the winery-I was all decked out in my Muck boots and work clothes lookin' like I really didn't want to run into anyone I knew and low and behold there was cobaltjars (Faith) and her friend! What a surprise that was! It was so good to see her smilin' face! She actually left somethings in the Quillt store for me to select from! Just kidding Faith!

No I didn't really get any sewing done. I think it was 2 blocks. I did finish cutting out the rest of the Boomerang blocks and I am almost halfway through those now! Today is the finish day! I just realized that I need to do a baby quilt for my DIL who is having a shower on the 13th! Oops! Got to get in gear!

Oh Cindy I thought you looked adorable in your boots and fleece jacket. LOL!!
I was VERY pleasently suprised to see you there.

Note to self: Always make sure your not wearing your old painting clothes to go to a quilt shop or fabric store.. LOLOL!!!!! ;) I'm teasing you.... You looked fine.

I would Love to go to Battleground with you. PM me and we'll get a day and time set to go.

Karen you got tons of fabric cut last weekend. Set up to make some really cute blocks I noticed. Don't feel bad I didn't complete any blocks though I did get 10 Paper pieced blocks started.

I finally got the blocks all finished! Well, that is all that I had cut out last weekend! I finally received one of the swappers fabrics so now I have one more to do! It has only taken every spare moment this week to get here!

Wow what a fun group of women! Lilrain told all of us about a fabric store you wouldn't believe! And she was right- you wouldn't believe this place we visited today. It's located in Battleground, WA and it was like walking into a candy factory with soooo many bolts of fabric. It was soooooo sweet! First to the back room where all the fabric was $5.00 and $6.00 a yard. Yes all six of us managed to find several selections of 'must haves' and on to the main room. There was thooouuuuuusands of more bolts of fabric. This place had so many bolts of fabrics - who needs a cute nicely decorated quilt store. All we need is good quality fabric at a reasonable price and we found it! You want a line of fabric with every color to choose from - it's there! It was so much fun and many thanks to lilrain for sharing this experience with us. I'm going back once my debt is paid off!

WOW! Looked like SEW much fun. Sorry I couldn't have joined you, my friends. But then, I had a new grandbaby to DEAL with !! LOL

Looking forward to our next get together. Anyone interested in attending the "Stitches In Bloom" quilt show at the Oregon Gardens in Silverton? Think it is the 3rd week in Jan. I always enter a quilt in that show. Keep the thought on the back burner during the holidays.
