    It is a gorgeous quilt. The hand quilting just adds that special touch, don't you think. I am so lad you were able to save it. Enjoy for a very long time!

    OMG what a fabulous quilt and it's fortunate that you spent the time to restore her to her original beauty. Some people do not appreciate the work that goes into making quilts, unfortunately.

    Someone somewhere would see school clothes or Sunday dresses in that quilt. Maybe even Dad's shirt or brothers. I am so glad you gave it a loving home and that the salvage finally worked

    I found a label on an older quilt. It was on the back near the bottom left corner and was labeled using the same color thread and sewn in block letters. My neighbor has a quilt like it. sewn in block letters with just a shade lighter. and another area in Braille. So glad you were able to rescue.
