Hi from just south of you. Great haul. If you want to use the duck cloth for tote bags; there is an organization called "Sadie's Dream for a cure". They have a pattern for making tote bags and give them to kids with cancer.

Congrats! I use duck cloth to make new covers for my "big board" ironing board. Mine's homemade so I can put a new cover on it whenever I want, not sure about the store bought ones. I also use it to make travel size pressing boards.

You were so lucky to respond to that ad .... lucky you!!! I've used duck in place of denim on rag quilts and on quilts for dogs ... very durable stuff. Have fun with that haul ... many hours of quilting there.

Duck cloth also is used to make the corn bags for the corn toss games many people play in the spring and summer. At least around here they do. Depends on the color/print of it. Most use solid colors.
Also great for tote bags.
Felt use to line drawers, jewelry cases etc. Depends on the color they use is felt for Poodle skirts also.

I used duck cloth as the back of a chenille project (it had a chevron print) and it worked well. If you want to experiment with the chenille technique you could try it.
