Callie had asked for assistance making quilts for the 58 families that lost their homes in wildfires. As I happened, I had just discovered 13 12" 9 patch squares in my stash that I had made for a swap years ago that never got off the ground. so I offered my squares and to make a top from them. I also had the beigh fabric for sashing which was fortunate because all the squares have at least one color in the beigh range.

    It's 53 X 53 - a good size lap/couch quilt.

oh yes what will be a great quilt. Isn't it great to find quilt blocks and put them to good use?

What a great quilt - can't wait to get it to share with everybody here in Amarillo. Some of my sewing group are meeting next Saturday to work on quilts and right now I have over a tub of cut material to sew together. Thanks again DogHouseMom for your help with this project. I know the person that gets your quilt will appreciate it. Callie
