You and your family are adorable! That room is going to make an awesome sewing room...I hope that you're super careful on those stairs tho...maybe you can make sure that Paul or the girls are with you when you go up and down?
Can't wait to see pics when you get it set up! :)

What a great room!!! I'd be excited too, it looks like it will work out perfectly! (You need to get those dents out of the ceiling though...from all the ideas your DH had while he was laying there. I could see them flying all over and hitting the ceiling!)

    So....are you done yet???

Looks like a beautiful place to quilt. Do be careful on those stairs tho. I'm sure you will fill the closet and more spaces with fabric!!
I was sure I had lots of cabinets to put fabric in but no.I have totes full of fabric now after I filled the cabinets. I must use up and not buy more, but I probably won't.
Have fun in your new quilting space.

You will love deciding where things go in the new space and it will be wonderful that your grand daughters will be there with you so you can see them, but will be on the other side. They will be good company but not in your way.

My parents have one of those electric stair climbers. They are expensive. They do take up quite a bit of space on the stairs, so I hope those stairs are wide. The seat, foot rest and both arms fold up, so the chair part doesn't block the stairs so someone can get by. The metal parts take up about a third of my parents' stairway. It's a Godsend for them, so you will enjoy having it very much.

One helpful thing for them is a remote control, so one of them can put heavy things (groceries, laundry, etc) on the chair and send it up for the other one to take care of. Very handy!

Sorry you don't have your house any more, but at least you will have a beautiful new sewing room!
