Okay, so this quilt is for a friend who is expecting her first child in the fall. She has a black and white themed nursery, and this is what I came up with. The pattern is my own design, and I really wanted to perfect my spirals, so I did those for the quilting. It turned out quite nicely, I think.

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't have chosen black and white for a baby, but hey, at least it's not living in my house ;).

Thanks =D. I watched a video by Judi of Green Fairy Quilts and she really made it look so easy. Her technique makes the spirals look a lot fuller, which is what I wanted. Thank goodness for the internet right? :)

They say that black and white is great for babies to learn to focus.

babies originally only see in black and white. I had b&w photos taped to the incubator in the NICU and i could see my son actually focus in on them. Love the quilt. I am sure they will eventually throw some color in the nursery though.

    Love the quilting.

Babies do see pattern well. So the black and white in this quilt will be wonderful. It is gorgeous
