    Thanks all. You can see a titchy bit of a blue and white quilt peeking underneath on the 2 of the pics - its a king size, all different sized stars, which I want to heavily fmq - so this one was sort of workout I suppose... it will be harder though as its so big.
    This one is the "heaviest" quilting I've done so far.

    Mamagus - I agree, 60ins sq is a very versatile size isn't it - can be used on a bed like you said, or a lap quilt. I have one all in lavender shades which looks great on top of white.

    I've been doing it about 15 months now, and gradually getting more confident. The hardest thing is deciding what I'm going to do on a piece :lol:

    I think your "practice" looks perfect, Katrine! Front and back are lovely. I really like the Moda fabrics and the polka dot border!
