Isn't it fun when kids want you to teach them how to do things. I had a second grader wanted me to teach him to do plastic canvas. He never moved off his chair for 2 hours. He graduated this year from high school. My neighbor babysits. One of the kids asked me if I had anything they could have that I made. Sewed or whatever.

those are cute bags, and cute kids. My niece is a lot older than that, but while we can't get together to create, the computer sure helps. She taught me to use a computer (to at least email,) taught me the basics of crochet. I taught her to cross stitch, applique, and some quilting basics. It's been real crazy trying to draw examples, scan, and send her the info, and then getting on the phone and going through scans step by step. LOL We do have fun . She has already made more quilts than me, and that girl can whip them out so fast. Of course, she doesn't worry about things like tucks on the back side of quilts, but I've got her doing better on that. And she is a whiz at machine embroidery!! I REALLY need her here to help with that!!LOL

Beautiful bags, they both did a great job. Always good to see future quilters. Cute kids too.

Ashleigh and Foster are adorable. It sounds like you all have so much fun together! Their bags came out really cute. Great Aunt Cathy is great in more ways than one!
