    Very attractive use for a striped fabric. I always shy away from those.

    Teal is my favorite color in fabric. Nice choice of fabric/blocks/quilting. Re: potholders......I usually bind mine too, but wouldn't it be easier to use a quilt-as-you-go method? Cut the top and batting the same size, but make your backing 1" larger and sandwich. Double fold the backing over each side and top stitch down. Sure sounds quicker & easier, besides using less fabric.

    I really like your use of the striped floral fabric, especially the way you turned it alternately. Very Pretty!
