    My grandaughter would love this quilt, she is a dance instructor and her favorite colors are black and white.

    What pattern did you use? I would love to try and make one for her..:)

    The pattern is called "Bloom", #108 by Thimble Blossoms.
    If you look at the pattern here: http://www.thimbleblossoms.com/Thimb.../31_bloom.html
    you will notice that I didn't follow the pattern exactly. I added my own touch to the quilt.

    I used a graphic off the computer as a template for the ballerina and I free hand cut the slippers.

    It was a FUN quilt to make!

    Simply adorable. My granddaughter, now 6, has been taking ballet for the past 2 years. If she keeps it up I may have to make her this quilt Yours is beautiful. Thanks for the link.

    I think this is the perfect canvas for those who applique! You could place any theme in the white canvas area. You did a beautiful job with this quilt and have inspired me. It's been a long time since I have gotten this excited about a quilt.. thank you.
