All of you ladies do such beautiful work.

Hi Pickle, it's more of a technique than a pattern. The yardage needed depends on the pattern repeat so I can't give you an easy answer. Click this link and it will take you to the OBW Topic List (half way down) with lots of info on the books and so on. I would recommend that you invest in one of the books, available on Amazon if you can't find it locally. Click on the list name and it will take you to a list of all the Pictures threads here on the board where members have posted their finished tops and quilts - lots of inspiration there. :D

Thank you so much. :-D And don't be scared, you'll be fine. Just ask yourself 'what's the worse that could happen?' You waste a bit of fabric - so what? Anyway I'm sure you'll do great. :D

Oh, it's stunning! (Psst! Don't tell the Queen; she might demand it for herself.)

Im amazed that you did three beauties and then proceeded to applique on them. How beautiful and how georgeous and the Queen would agree.

I am awe struck. Those panels are truly gorgeous. I am sure the Queen would love them as well. Great job. Quite an inspiration.
