Woody - I'm beginning to have an OBW fabric "jam" here, I have a queue of fabrics to cut for them now!
You could alway send one or two fabrics my way I would be happy to help you out

I found a gorgeous fabric here in Australia but I refuse to pay $25 AUD per metre for it
 Worse here Woody - I buy practically all mine from the USA now. $25 AUD = 18 Euros, and for a feature fabric such as this (even if you could find it here, unlikely) would cost approx 24-26 Euros. 18Euros would only get something like a marble. Even with shipping costs, the saving is considerable, otherwise I couldn't afford to carry on.

`Your quilt is just fantastic. I love the time & planning you took with the little setting squares. I think it looks so much better when your eyes can't define the square.

Thank you - I agree that the same fabric setting squares improve the continuity of the octagons, and I enjoyed moving them around ...... I'm just finishing a hanging make with the leftover octagons and squares from this one, so will have no waste at all from it, apart from one small square!

I keep coming back to look at your wonderful "bright" creation. It always makes me smile. Thanks

Thank you Fireworks! I have enough to make a hexagon obw with the fabric too, and there is plenty of scope with this print design to "play" around - so thinking about that now. . .
