More andmore practice for me. Beautiful job. I like tehtwo color quilt.
Yes, I practise loads, but also think a good pair of gloves (I use Machingers) and recently acquired Sewslip mat help enormously too.

We are going to sleep under this one Rhonda!! When its finally finished I dont think I would be able to part with it - and no-one is going to be able to afford it anyway
It is truly beautiful Kathy!! I was taught when growing up that you fold the quilt down to the end of the bed and don't use it or you take it off and fold it and set it aside at night so it doesn't get damaged. If I had something this beautiful I would have to do that rather than sleep under it!

I think my love of quilting is from when I was a child. At my grandma's I slept under a quilt my grandma and her guild made. It was a signature quilt and it had all the last names of my family on it. I have such strong memories of sleeping under that quilt.

I can't wait to see what you make next!!

You're right, y'know, suppose it will have to be taken off at nights!
And as to what next.... funny lady huh? But I do have an OBW cut and on the wall which I'm playing with at the moment. I've just spent another 4 hours on the Stars and the body of it is now one quarter done. Chief Inspector Kathryn  is coming here Tuesday afternoon, so I gotta have something to show her, and that I haven't been frittering the hours away since she moved

Can't even tell you how much I love this quilt. The blue and white look so crisp and fresh! I can't believe you're doing FMQ on your home machine, and you're doing a fantastic job! That looks like a WHOLE lot of work!
