Robert Kaufman has a new group coming out called "Groove". It's all geometric-type prints, most of which I understand but there's one that really confuses me. I love dots... but this one is "wonky" and it leaves me wondering how you would use something like this?

(It comes in other colors, too, but these three look very different from each other.)

Here is a smattering of the rest of the collection, to give you a sense of context. Kaufman is doing a variety of color combinations in each print. If you want to see more, ask me and I'll post additional pictures.

And a couple more. This group does have some great red-black-white prints for people who like those!

I'm not crazy about the dots but I like the red, black and white in the last pics.

Does it bother you that the dots aren't lined up on the horizontal, or vertical, or even at a 45-degree angle?

I love polka dots, but not into anything wonky. Would use it as a backing, but knowing me, I would be trying to straighten it up.
I really, really like that red, black and white, don't care at all for the geo prints, really like the other too.
Don't care for the last one either.
But in my experience, somebody always likes what I don't,...which truthfully, I don't think is much...some fabrics can be used in kaleidoscope blocks and look fantastic, that way.
I am always pleasantly surprised what ppl come up with, that I would have thought, "oh no, that's not me, wouldn't use it."
Then they make me see it a new way, and I have to rethink that.
