All your work and patience is certainly a loving appreciation for the work and love that went into this quilt. Thank you from all us quilters for saving this beautiful work. You are already starting a "history" for this quilt!

I cannot imagine putting that amount of work into something, only to have another person treat it like a rag. I am so glad that it came to your hands, and you were able to give it back its dignity.

Beautiful quilt! Great to see it find a good home. DH and I have rescued a few of these gems ourselves, it's a good feeling!

It is so much prettier in person and it is completely quilted by hand. It is all HST's and the maker had to have a design wall to do it properly. I sure wish there was a label so I could thank the woman. I just wonder how could anyone do that to a quilt like this ? Hope you enjoy. BTW, each HST is about 2 inches sewed.

It is a beautiful quilt and you have done a wonderful job restoring it.

Spending time on the missing quilt registries makes it easy to understand how something horrible can happen to a treasured quilt. So many people looking for their treasures, of course I wonder how many people don't even know about the registries.
