Lucky find there. As for the duck cloth, I think if it were me, I would use it for a table runner, pot holders, Christmas tree skirt, sewing machine or appliance cover, or perhaps totes or purses. I personally would not use it for a quilt batting, but then that's just me. If you wanted to make a camping quilt or picnic quilt, then duck cloth might work out fine for the batting, but I would not use it for any other quilt.
The felt would make neat Christmas ornaments, or candle mats. You can use felt for lots of things.

Duck cloth is too stiff for a quilt... but here is a great idea of what to do with it:

Duck cloth is great for the back of picnic quilts. Wears like iron!

The duck cloth can make fabric purses, or insides. It is also great for an ironing board cover. Floor cushions, anything that needs a sturdy cloth fabric.

Oh, felt, I have used felt for ornaments, purses, but also yardage wise you put a puzzle together on it, and you can roll it up with the pieces laid out and roll it up inside. Then when you want to do the puzzle again, you take it out and unroll. Great for making a christmas tree skirt as well.
