    wow! great find! I love it! Although it's hard to tell if it's handmade or not, but I love the fabrics!

    I don't know where it came from but its gorgeous!!!! I have seen a few quilts with a wide ruffle around the border and I love them!

    my family has 7 hand made chinese quilts used for beach blankets and cat beds. every one has a coordinating print on the back, cheap ones and better ones. i guess the quality of the stitching is one clue, but it does look like one of the better chinese ones. one hint is that deep ruffle. i don't think that diminishes the value, though. someone made a beautiful hand-made quilt and your friend hit the jackpot.
