    It's not ugly. It's very nice and masculine. Masculine quilts are supposed to be too "pretty". I like it a lot.

    I think you are being too hard on yourself and really, there are no Quilt Police.... When I first looked at the photo with your words in my brain "ugly" I immediately thought well, I might have used a 3rd fabric, but other than that it looks GREAT, especially for someone in her first year of quilting. You will be a PRO in no time at this rate!

    You could have fooled me. It looks pretty darn professional to me and I think you have done a stellar job of it. Very neat fabric choices too.

    Well I like it, I think the colors are beautiful and so is the pattern, I do not see anything wrong with it and I am sure no one else will.....you did a nice job.
