To celebrate my birthday today, as well as my twin sis's , I didn't get to do what I wanted to do, and that was to finish this baby donation quilt using the 10 minute block that I found here on the QB..
Once the 20 minutes that it took to figure out part of it ( ok, so I had a bad day of concentration, chalk it up to age related issues ), I was off and running...

Alas, not to my sewing machine until just a little while ago.. I am toying with the sashing between the blocks/ rows.. thinking it needs to be quite a big larger.. anyway, this was my birthday project after some hard stuff going on today. Not been the best birthday ever, but hey, 55 comes next year, and I will make up for next year on this date..

    sashings or?

I like the sashing, however, without the sashing you get a secondary pattern. Either way it will be a really neat quilt:)

Like your blocks and you should do what you feel you want your finished quilt to look like. But I think with the sashing is nice.

I love the sashing, it lets the blocks stand out on their own.
