    Thanks Kim for letting us know what is possible with pictures and explanations. As a newbie, I get so much out of these posts.

    I can't believe you're a beginner!!! Amazing work!

    A couple of questions to see if I understand what you did:

    1. Piece Block
    2. Cut backing bigger than block
    3. Cut batting same size as block
    4. Layer and quilt

    Then I get a little fuzzy. How did you 'square' it up before sewing together?

    What size strips did you use in between the blocks?

    Hey everybody, thanks so much for all the comments. In the next few days (or weeks, depending on how the 6th grade play goes this week:-) Im going to try to write up how I do the QAYG. I may not be speedy but I promise to put it on my TO-DO list. Thanks again !!

    I did that too ! so easy but used same fabric and the "show" was not so spectacular!
