    Thanks everyone for the comments - this is Suzanne McNeill's 10-Minute Block pattern. I used 12 fat quarters rather than 10" layer-cake blocks - I cut two 9 inch squares from each and mixed & paired them up for half square triangle blocks (that's what gives it a diagonal set look) and then proceeded with her directions (also used 6" yellow squares for the 10 min block centers). I had enough left of the fat quarters to make the piano key borders.

    Default 10 Minute Nap - close up

    Here is a close up of the 10 min block - I serpentine quilted the entire quilt to soften some of the lines. Also used one of my decorative stitches on the block centers.
