What a bright and beautiful quilt. She did a wonderful job.
Hopefully she will develop a love of sewing that will last her lifetime.

I am so envious. I can’t get my granddaughters interested in quilting or even just sewing. I also love to bake. They don’t like that either.

She sure looks so proud of her quilt. I wish my grand daughter had the will to sit and sew.

How fun. I so wish my 9 1/2 year old GD didn't lived here in MN by me instead of at Colorado. I would love to help her learn to sew. I envy you to get to spend this precious time with your grand daughter, making memories for your both.

And so it begins! I have just finished supervising 2 GD's with projects...the 10 yo made pillowcases and the 13 yo a quilt. The joy of sharing our passion with the next generation is beyond compare. Here's to many more projects with her!
