I bow to the master. I just wish for time to complete one. You did a great job---sorry it did not go well. Sell them on ebay or craigslist and donate the money or there are lots of places that will take quilts for children. And then go treat yourself with some new fabric---you earned it.

So.... about Thanksgiving time I asked my DH and he said "sure" if you want to make a few things. So..... I whipped up 11 quilts in 3 weeks time. I made 6 baby size, similar to the "Downey" quilts and 5 larger, lap size quilts using the warm wishes pattern. They are both really easy patterns and I can whip them up quickly. All the fabrics were pulled directly from my stash.

Beautiful quilts and so fast! Amazing! I guess you could stash them for the next gifts or charities that you need something quick and don't have time! I've wanted to do that for a while but never seem to get ahead of the ball!

And the result.......... Hardly anyone came to the boutique, which I kinda had a feeling would happen..... and I didn't sell anything but a couple of old craft items that I dug out of the garage.

I think it is a great organization..and I am sorry they didn't sell...but they will get good use when you donate them anyhow..never a waste!

Your fabric choices are as awesome as your production rate!
Now what are you going to do with all of them?

You have done a wonderful job. I think I may retire from the boutique business. My quilt guild had a quilt show with a boutique for members to sell their quilted and sewn items. I spent a lot of time on the items I put in there and barely sold anything. I think in order to sell, you have to have a very clear idea of what people will buy and what they will spend on it. Your quilts are so beautiful...I hope you find someone to give them to who will appreciate them.
