Would you mind giving the dimensions of your piece before you made the cut out to go around the person's neck? Thank you.

What a great idea. Thanks for being so sensitive to those lonely people.

    Here is the pattern.

    http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/08/...fort.html#more

My DSIL used up the bits and pieces that we had left over from doing several of these, kind of like the jelly roll race quilt, sewed them end to end, then cut them to size. She also used leftover bindings for a scrappy binding. We used 10 yds of fabric that she had planned for the back of her bed quilt, then decided she hated it. We used John Flynn's diagonal backing when we were just a tad short on backing fabric. We are looking for something to do next year, starting right after Jan 1, not October. So if you have any ideas, please let me know.

48" x 58". We cut at the 16th strip. We marked at 4" and sewed 1/4" outside that for a 4 1/2" opening.

Your Comfort wraps are great idea. They will fit over the shoulders & down over their laps...
