I started these a couple of months ago and just finished up a few minutes ago. I got sidetracked a few times. I posted the pattern awhile back. These are going to a military "charity" that gives quilts and goodie baskets to new moms on the local military base. Most of these moms don't have family around and their spouses (or they, themselves) do not make much, so we "baby shower" them. I didn't want to make a quilt, so I came up with these to add to each basket.

Excuse the fabric scrap and thread... I just finished!

They came out very nice, and just in time! Now I know what to make some of my friends for Christmas.

You can never have enough bibs.

I LOVE these bibs. I used to make a bib from a towel taht had a binding on it and it was a pain to make. I would love to get this pattern. You said you posted the pattern a while back. How can I find it? I will try to Search for it under Bibs and see if I can find it--otherwise, I would appreciate any help from you as to try to find that posting. Thanks.

My daughter asked why I didn't make her any when she was a baby. I told her she was a perfect baby and never needed a bib. She just grinned. (She just turned six.)

She asked if she could pick out the fabric for the next batch I make. I told her I didn't even want to think about making more for a long time. I have too many other projects I want to make.

I might consider making these for a craft bazaar next year. I think they would be good sellers. Just not sure if the amount I'd make would be worth the effort.
