I am so happy to be finished with this quilt! I am also embarrassed that it took me so long. I did the top fairly quickly, considering all the hand applique. I started quilting it, then had some trying life situations happen, and for a period of a few years stopped sewing. When I started again, I was sort of afraid to hand quilt for fear I had forgotten and was afraid I would ruin the quilt. It just sat for many years. I picked it back up about a year ago, determined to finish it, but I also had 2 other quilts (with deadlines) going. Anyway it is finished!!
