16" Mini Quilt Top
I made this 12 1/2 inch mini quilt top today and when it is finished will be 16" squared.
What I did;
#1 cut 1 1/2 inch strips
#2 sewed these strips together
#3 cut it down to 3" square
#4 sewed 4 of those squares together
#5 once sewed together I trimed down to 4 3/4" squares
#6 also cut some circular/flowery batiks pieces into 4 3/4" squares
#7 alternated each square and than stitched them up 3 squares per row, with 3 rows for a total of 9 mini squares
Next you will see half a dozen different color borders I have put on the wall next to te mini pieced top trying to decide which looks best so I'm going to ask y'all if you would view it and let me know which one you like best.
Thanks

It really isn't. Key is to use fabrics that fool the mind into thinking it is hard to do. :-)
