    Default 1910 Quilt Recycled

Wish I could take credit for creating this. Won this about 25 years ago. It is made from a 1910 quilt.

    What a treasure!

I would be so pleased if the remnants of one of my quilts were made into a Christmas stocking when its otherwise-useful life was over.

Yes, if that old quilt could talk. What a story!

At first I hate the thought of cutting up old quilts, but then I think of the wear and torn spots on my old quilts and I think, why not? They will never be good for warmth again. It's a great way to use them and repurpose them. Love the stocking idea and the tag.

I agree, what a cool thing...and then the retired quilt could be enjoyed by many.
