    Your block is an underground railroad block called Wagonwheel. Funny I just printed this pattern out.

    In the book I have "Great Little Quilts" by Eleanor Levie it is called Rising Sun c.1890. And it is a great pattern. Lots of movement to it.

    Thanks for all the input! I found google images for Wagon Wheel and Rising Sun, and when I clicked on the link for Wheel of Fortune, one variation looks like this as well. I like the idea of perhaps making some more blocks to go with these I have, although I'm still not sure how to turn under those tiny edges without losing the triangle points!
