Gorgeous quilt! You made your quilt in my favorite fabrics-repo 30's. Such nice memories of having a quilt that you slept under at your grandmother's house. I have some of those same great memories. You did such a beautiful job and hope you enjoy it for years. Love seeing it displayed on your bed.

I want it, I want it, I want it!!! This is a definitely a keeper. I lost my heart after reading your intro before looking at the quilt. You really knocked this one out of the ballpark and I can envision a restful night sleep under it. The hourglass vase is unusual and fits the tulip design perfectly. 30s 40s 50s fabrics are some of my favorite designs. The Dresden butterflies are wonderful and I so enjoy looking at them. In fact I enjoy the entire quilt. Your grandma is looking down from heaven with a big smile and so proud that you took up when she left off. You did yourself proud on this one. I'm sorry I didn't even look at the quilting, which is the way an old fashioned quilt is suppose to look. This is a masterpiece. Happy dreams tonite!!! Thanks for posting and brightening up my dreary, stormy day.
