    It's also known as a "9 Patch and Snowball", a traditional pattern. Perfect for the 30's repros.... Love the way you did the borders as QAYG. I'm going to have to remember that.

    I have two Singer 301s and never thought to quilt on them! How was it? Did you use a walking foot?
