Default 1930's Reproduction Quilt Just Finished

I made this quilt from lots of small 1930's fabrics and reproductions. The pattern is called "Kim's Star" from Fons and Porter's Quilting Quickly May/June 2015. I don't really see a star here, but I like the pattern, and making it was fun -- used up some fabric pieces in my stash. The backing is a blue Aunt Grace reproduction 108" wide fabric.

The borders are attached using a QAYG technique. I find that the reduced dimensions of the quilt without the borders make life easier during the quilting. Then I quilt the borders separately and attach.

Pieced on a Pfaff 130 and quilted on a Singer 301. The quilt is shown on a queen size bed and is another one for the Bible camp quilt auction.

This is so lovely. I see the star points made by the snowball corners.
