Default 1999 treeskirt & first handquilted quilt, all done.

The tree skirt had been put aside for years unfinished, and the quilt too, in which the centers had been made many years ago by my grammie when she was around 80 yrs old. At the time she was going blind so they aren't all perfect. I don't mind tho cause she was such a sweetie.
(I hope I uploaded the pics right.)

Lovely to have a quilt worked on by both you and your grandmother. I have wonderful memories about working on projects with my grandmother's.

    The tree skirt is beautiful.

They are both beautiful. The tree skirt looks very elegant.

A 14 yo design--looks timeless. I can see this under a "modern" metallic like tree or a scented pine with lots of Satin balls and silky blue colored ornaments.
How fortunate to have pieces of your grandma to work with. Nicely done.
