    Red face 1st Applique's

I recently finished my first Queen sized quilt called "R Cabin" and posted the results on this board. I just started quilting last year and find it is quite soothing for me so I would like to try as many different aspects of it as I can. I've read that many of you say it's good to get out of your comfort zone so thought I'd try my hand at applique. Now, mind you these are my first attempts .... but I find I love this ! The patterns are from Laura Anderson's Applique Book.

Nice job - I also like to try all kinds of different things - it is fun to challenge oneself!
