    That looks great for a person who has sewing and quilting experience. For a newbie, that is outstanding! You have an eye for detail and for placement. You definitely have more quilts in your future! May I suggest looking at a couple of Jenny Doan's Missouri Star Quilt CO youtube videos? She is easy to watch and follow and has hundreds of different patterns. For a beginner, you can start with just a rotary cutter, a mat and a 6" x 24" ruler AND a seam ripper. You can buy all the bits and bobs later. Also, do not be frustrated if you need to rip out a seam. I believe that is one of the most used tools all of us have! Please, keep up the great work.

    After doing the shirt quilt as your first, the sky is the limit for you now. Great job on the quilt.
