No chuckling here...I think its wonderful. Thank you for sharing with us. I too, retired about 2 years ago. I quilt and sew the day away. Life is good. I wish the same for you.

The quilt is very nice, and your feathers are great! This doesn't look like a beginner's quilt.

That is a beautiful quilt! It looks so warm and inviting, I don't think I'd want it warming a wall, either. Let people come to the bedroom to give the kudos and compliments! Even with the extra material you had to buy for the one block, you got a very good deal. Your husband is a lucky man - and very thoughtful of your talent to want to display it on the wall. Have as much fun on your second quilt!

Fantastic job! Love the colors. Blue and yellow are so cheerful together. And the quilting is great! First quilt? Really? You'd never guess that in a million!
