Default 1st Quilt Finished for 2013

Just finished quilting and binding this 10-minute block quilt for a little girl in our congregation. I added some embroidery designs I tested for a digitizer to the center blocks. This block is as they say "10-minute" or less. I'm using the scraps from this quilt to make a quilt for her older brother. Thanks for looking

Nice! That's one of the prettiest 10 minute block quilts that I've seen. Is it hard to quilt thru all that extra fabric at the center of the block?

Couldn't you cut away the extra layers in the center like you do with the back of applique blocks if it gets too bulky in the center?

Lovely quilt. The quilting frames the center squares very nicely!

It's lovely! Reminds me of D9P but I don't see seam lines in center white. Did you embroider first before putting on quilt? How did you attach it? Thanks for your help!
