I like getting ideas from others and their use of space and storage, so I
thought I would share my room with you too. I want to move it down the hall to the spare bedroom but we need to remove a closet and add a window first. So I use this room off the master bedroom for now.....
Hope you enjoy the tour. I love having a room dedicated to the "mess".

Thanks mgshaw. Had to talk DH into dong this for me. It is just the shelves that you buy at Home Depot. It all hangs from one rack that is screwed into the wall at the top. So when I move rooms it won't be to much wall repair :D

The quilt on the frame is one for charity. I have to piece the backing and then start on it tonight. A lady in our guild made the top from donated orphan blocks. She only hand quilts so I volunteered to do this one. Someone wanted to tie it rather than quilt it. It has caught the eye of some of the quild members. There are a few like that. We might auction them off to raise money for more batting. I'll post pics when I get it finished.

Very nice 2doods!! I just finished moving my quilting machine out of our master bedroom & into our spare bedroom. My daughter & grandaughter just moved out on July 11th & I didn't waste a lot of time getting stuff moved so that I now have my own sewing room. I will have to send photos when I'm all done. My daughter still has a lot of stuff out in the family room to go thru & decide what to keep & what to give to the Goodwill. When they get the table cleared off, then I'll be able to move the table into my sewing room. I have lots of outdoor stuff going on trying to get ready for my daughter's garden wedding "here" on Sept 6th...so I feel like I'm juggling a lot of things right now & am looking forward to being able to eventually use my new sewing room!!! My sewing room will double as a guest bedroom...so I'm thinking about using bungie cords & have the bed stand up against the wall & use it for my quilt board when the room is not doubling as a guest bedroom.. I've already tried sticking some quilt squares to the material on the bottom of the bed & it seems to hold it ok. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for showing us your room. I get so many ideas for my sewing room. Right now I'm in a room about 7' x 9' but I hope to soon move my sewing room to our old bedroom which is 12' x 15'. I want to switch rooms now but DH wants me to wait until he remodels it. We're gradually remodeling our whole house.

    Thanks Skeat!
The machine is a Juki TL 98Q that Santa brought me last year. :D The Grace frame I found on Craigslist. The doods like the glass door so they can keep an eye on the wildlife. There is a window behind the quilting frame that gets afternoon sun too. Good place for a window since I wouldn't be able to reach anything on the wall.
