I saw your beautiful quilts. Well deserved the blue ribbons. I stood and looked at the "Las Cruses" quilt for a long time. It is outstanding. Did you do the boot appliqué ? I entered 3. One got 3rd place and the other 2 got 4th. My purse got 1st place.

Your quilts are gorgeous - congratulations on the win! I just hate it when quilts are not displayed so we can see them properly. Would love to see complete pictures of yours.

Congratulations. I agree that last is a well designed diamond log cabin!

    Thanks everyone!
Nan - yes the chicken wire was different to me too! I think it's an excellent way to protect them and keep hands off. Many Many quilts were behind flat cabinets with locked glass doors, those you could only see a small piece of.
I'm sure displaying in this situation is tricky.
Congrats to you Froggy on your ribbons too! Lots of pretty quilts. Did you happen to see the jack rabbit quilt? I didn't get a pic of it and it's stayed in my mind. Very intriguing, I'd really like to see more of it. I didn't even see the purses - and commented to my Mom I couldn't believe there weren't any there. Please share your quilt pics when you can! Would love to see them.

Absolutely Beautiful, Congratulations. Is the Las Cruces quilt your own design or is this pattern available. Interested in your reply as I am in love with this one.

    Thanks, Mi-Mi

These are mine. The Christmas quilts are in the round building. The one that won best of show in the Christmas division is spectacular. I was in a round robin group with the lady who made it. All by hand. She does the best handwork. I did see the rabbit quilt. There were lots of different and beautiful quilts.

Wow! I love that Penguin quilt! The only building we didn't go in was the round building. Looks like we missed seeing some beautiful works. Were there other Classes/divisions in it too? Thanks for sharing

It was a variety of things in the round building. Arts and crafts, pictures, and clothing. Thanks for the link to the pattern for the L as Cruses quilt. I'm serious, this quilt is mesmerizing. It was by far my favorite.
