Well the tops are done! This week I plan on quilting and binding them! Be honest - what do you think.

I'm planning on binding the sunflower one in a tan, the backing is also going to be a tan with leaves, and the other one will be backed with a darker brown and orange pieced back, and bound in a hunter green.

I think that they are unique. I like the colors and uneven edges.

Yes, I like the unusual pattern. Would love to see it completed, as well!

p.s. That would make a neat bed or lap quilt pattern, too.

    I made one here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/tpr?p=1738581&t=64819

    for moosegirl in a swap

I think that I made up the pattern.. not sure, I just sketched something on paper and my husband said, that would look cool in a quilt. So I put it on template plastic and tried it out.

Very nice love your colors the one you did for the swap shows the edge finished was the binding hard to do or did you do bias binding? A very striking pattern thanks for sharing!

The binding wasn't hard at all. It was a tiny bit fiddly, but once I got in the groove of doing it, it went pretty quick. I hand stitch the binding to the bottom though! I didn't use bias binding and it all went together with a minimum of effort.
