Meanmom: So where do I cut it to make it longer, the Jinny Beyer's placemat.
I looked at the pattern again; do I cut additional B's and
B-r's and keeping adding them to the A's?

If you want the stripes to run the same direction, you need to lengthen pattern piece "A". Just cut it in half and lay on your fabric with the spread you need to make a long runner. You could also make another "A" pattern piece that is the length you want using tissue paper or freezer paper so that you keep the end angles correct. At least that is what I would do. You do not need any additional "B" OR "B-r" pieces.

Beautiful table runners, BTW ~ :D
There isn't a name on the pattern. It just says © 2006 Timeless Treasures.
My pattern says "Easy Striped Table Runner" TGC 272, designed by Karen Montgomery, The Quilt Company. www.thequiltcompany.com

These are nice! I love using border & strip fabrics for this kind of quick project. I've done some octagon & hexagon table toppers using the same idea. They come out great.
