    How are you finishing them off? What will be the filling/ (batting?) Do you just add a backing? These are really nice.

    Love your quilts. Did you use a particular pattern or just "wing" it? I agree with the others. They will be loved.

    No batt, they are heavy without it, whew. I like to put flannel on the back of most of my denim quilts.

    I love the quilts and I love what you are doing. I am working on binding and labeling a lap quilt for a boy with john deere tractors on it. It is also a charity quilt. I hope you succeed in getting every child in foster care a quilt of their very own. It is a great goal for your group.

    Oh, and I do use denim for the binding too, different colors ... I like the scrappy look.

    I just wing it.

    I should post some pix of the denim quilts I've made for my grands. They are all different. 2 of my granddaughters got a couple of pockets on them too.
