    Love your quilts. I have made some for my Grandkids graduations also. Is there a meaning to the red patches or just for color?

    no special meaning to any of the colors, just the denim that I had on hand ... I like a variety of colored jeans to wear, I lost weight and was never going to wear those jeans again. Considered donating them but realized they would work in denim jean quilts.

    So anyone thinking of making a denim jean quilt, if you want to add a splash of color, check out your local thrift store and you might find some in green, red, black, etc ... most likely in the women's area, tho black in men's too.
