    Just beautiful...the quilts & the quilting. I'm loving those feathers. But, 16 months seems too long to me.

    The pattern for the quilt was a DVD from Quilters World here in Australia, the outer borders were pattern matched fans which I thought looked odd with the LeMoyne Star centre, so I pieced more stars and made the outer border on point, once I had those measurements I then worked into the centrepiece to make my borders fit. I also turned the centre of the quilt on point to make it bigger. It really ended up nothing like the original pattern. There was a lot of scribbling on paper to work it out and I was really happy with the end result.
