Sulabug, those are some very nice pillowcase bags. I am going to try to make another per instructions time permitting of course. I do enjoy seeing all the different pillowcase bags.

I've been afraid of putting blocks on the band but now that I see one up close I think I can do it! Can you tell me wat size block you made?

You will be surprised how easy these blocks were to make for the band. I can do better than giving you the measurements for the squares. I am including the pattern & direction's to make them. Enjoy

    First one, Log Cabin Band.

Cute! I've made 4 so far and love making them. Gave them to our guild for pillowcase project already and didn't post picture, for boys I used the sports, trains, fireman, etc on the cuff with solid body and the girls would be flowers, Dora, Barbie, ballerina, etc on the body with prints or solid cuff and each ones has the piping too. Tickles me to know some children's gets a thrill of having one.

I am trying hard to get ahead of the gift giving season, by sewing as much as I can in advance. Hope you enjoy looking at these!!
Jan - Don't you just LOVE making these pillowcases? It is like instant gratification! They are so fun to make, and can be so easily personalized. Great job on these two!!!

Oh, oh, oh!! I love the blue and yellow one! That fabric is fantastic! Glad I don't know where to buy it, because I'd fall off the "Fabric Moratorium" wagon in a heartbeat. your work is terrific, as always. Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for sharing-they are beautiful. I love to make pillowcases - but haven't tried the pieced cuff yet--will try that soon. Enjoy the process of making them.
